We have come to the end of another busy week. The week began with all the children paining a pot with Jane from ‘Fire 4 U’. Jane then took the pots back to her studio to be glazed, dried and then fired in one of her kilns. Jane has emailed me to say that the pots have gone into her kiln called ‘Kelvin’. I hope to collect the pots one night next week after school. See the photos in the class gallery.

In class we have started a new English project. We are working on producing an electronic tour of the school. Hopefully these will be on the class page once completed. In mathematics we have been using a formal written method to solve subtraction problems.

The week concluded with Red Nose Day. We started the day with a class assembly which ended with a whole school procession to the Red Nose Day Song for 2017( see the video on the news feed). After lunch we had a cake sale and some fun outside in the sun.

Next week is a busy last week of term. On Monday we have dress rehearsals for the talent show. On Tuesday the Easter Bunny is having breakfast with children in the Tanterton Community Centre at 8:15am. ( £1.50 per child ). On Wednesday is the talent show. Doors open at 5:30 and the show starts at 6pm. A great night of entertainment and food available. We finish the week with non-uniform day on Friday and an Easter assembly at 12:45 with the children finishing for Easter at 1:15pm.

Lots for you all to get involved in.

Many thanks to all the parents who came to parents evening on Tuesday. It was great to see you and to speak to you about your son or daughter.
