If time flies any faster, we are going to start time travelling…

That’s it, end of another term again. The weathers been brilliant and the children have been fantastic once again this term. Each week more and more children join in with the lunch time sports, we now have 3 separate games going on every dinner time. Luckily there are plenty of officials helping out.

The juniors this week years 5 and 6 played football 4 out of 5 games and boy did they play. These guys just go for it 100% every game and really know how to get behind their team mates and encourage each other. on Friday they played tag rugby and as always it didn’t disappoint. With Isaac leading the line his team won 4-2 over jakes team.

Years 3 and 4 took to the field with football this week and it was fantastic to see a massive improvement in sportsmanship and enthusiasm. Things started a little bumpy when this extra game started but these younger juniors soon started to show their maturity and started to enjoy themselves more and more. These matches have everything from long range goals from Noah to mazy runs from Owen. Well done guys, you’re really starting to embrace this games now.

In the infants we had a week of football. Every time these children step out onto the field its always with eagerness and excitement. Reo joined us this week and the infants gave him a good run for his money. The scores were kept low this week with some excellent goal keeping from Reagan and Alan. The best play of the week was a great run down the wing by max, who then looked up and picked out Hayden at the back post to finish a great bit of team play.

The infant team of the term goes to Cian, Max, Daniel, Leo and Reagan. Max and Cian always try their best no matter what game we play and always try to involve their whole team. Leo and Daniel are full of enthusiasm and never stop running, ever. Reagan will definitely be the future school goal keeper. Nothing gets past this lad and he gets better with ever game.

The junior team of the term goes to Leon, Owen, Jackson, Connor and Noah. These guys have shown a high level of maturity and willingness to learn. They’ve shown the right attitude and just love to play football. Keep it up lads, well done.

A special thanks to my ever helpful team of officials. Tyler, Dylan, Jakub, lee, Georgia and Miss McBride. They help out ever dinner time and I could not do it without their help. These lunch time sports games couldn’t go ahead without the help of Liam. This young man shows nothing but maturity and leadership. Every day every week he is always there to help me out.

Let’s all get plenty of rest and relaxation…
