This week has gone very fast in Silver class. Not only have we been busy with our lessons but some of us have been busy with our rehearsals.

Subject review

RE- This week we have been looking how Hindus worship at home (as well as at the temple) to a shrine. We then created our own class shrine using images of what is special to us and what we respect and value as important.

Maths – This week’s focus was on shape. We hunted the class and the outdoors for 3d shapes which we could name.

English – We have carried on reading The Iron Man. We created role play to imagine what characters might say to each other at a really tense part of the story.

Geography – We have been looking at different settlements in Britain. We then focused on India and the wide range of settlements there. We focused on Mumbai (the city) and created a news report interviewing somebody who had become homeless / lost their business in a recent earthquake.

This week’s star of the week is – Gabi

The two merit winners for silver class are – Lexi and Connor.

Next week sports day and summer fayre on Wednesday (looking at the weather I think summer fayre on Wednesday indoors and sports on Thursday)
