Moonbeam Class  have had an action packed week. The children have made Diwali candles, poppies for Remembrance and today they had a fun packed afternoon celebrating Diwali. I think the children will be ready for a rest, ready for another fun filled week next week.

The children have come back to school and full of energy and a desire to learn, this is fantastic to see. The week has been filled with lots of exciting lessons including creating Firework art and learning about how animals use their different senses.

Well it has been an amazing Autumn term 1 in Moonbeam class. The children have really settled into the routines in class and working very hard in all the curriculum areas. They have especially enjoyed singing and sang beautifully during the Harvest assembly this week.

Last week was a great week in Moonbeam class. The children have been working really hard on their adding and this week they will be working on subtracting. They have really settled in and now in a wonderful routine.

We have had a wonderful week in Moonbeam, the children have been working on their counting and looking at one more one less of a given number to 30. The children have been very excited in our science lessons as we have been learning about what different animals eat.

The class have been working very hard on their handwriting and number bonds this week. They have continued to settle in and enjoying the experience of being in Year 1.
