Year 1 - Following instructions

This week in year 1 we have be learning that computers work by following instructions. The instructions have to be clear and in the correct order. In computer language we call this an algorithm. To practice this, we went outside onto the y3/y4 yard. On the yard are some very good road markings. We used these markings to give each other instructions to get from one location to another. If it went wrong we had try to 'debug' or algorithm. Next week we will use these skills to control some 'Bee Bot turtles'.
