This week we had a special visitor, Mr Hilton in our singing assembly. He is a member of Wigan ukele band and came to talk to us and show us 2 different ukeles and a banjolele. He also joined in 3 of our hymns which was very exciting for us all. Hopefully he will join us in our assembly again. Later in the morning some year 5 children and Dylan from year 6 went to Dovedale care home to sing some songs for the residents. The children sang beautifully and the residents were very appreciative. They've asked us to come again next term so we must have done a good job. Well done everyone!

In the afternoon Bronze class paired up with Moonbeam class to teach them some paired and group singing games. The children all worked well and participated in clapping, skipping and ball games. Reo and Lee worked very well teaching year 1 the clapping games. Keep it up. Next time I will have to bring the camera to share our fun with you.

What a fun summer term this has been. I hope everyone enjoys their summer and we will look forward to improving our singing and musical knowledge again next term.
