We are definitely in ‘silly season’ now. Glitter adorns the carpets in every classroom and the infant children were amazing in the nativity on Tuesday afternoon and evening.

On Tuesday morning, the choir accompanied Mrs Bennett, Mr Bamber and myself to sing Christmas songs and carols at Greenfield’s residential home. We had a lovely time and the children sang beautifully, they were a real credit to themselves, the school and to you as parents. Jasmine was particularly helpful in keeping Mr Bamber and myself in check, as we tried to do the actions to ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’…thankfully, no photographs survive of that!

If we weren’t already feeling festive, then the Christmas dinner certainly helped with that. In other news, some children from Moonbeam class, Rainbow class, Silver class and Diamond class were working on developing their visual memory. We played some games of Dobble and tried to be the first to spot picture matches, lots of fun and we were improving our visual memory at the same time!
