It genuinely feels like only two minutes since it was September and all of the children were arriving in school with very clean, well-fitting uniforms. Everyone's grown that bit taller (or the uniform has shrunk!) and we are crawling towards the Summer holidays, all ready for a long break.
It was lovely to see all of the year six children in their finery at the Pride of Pool House evening last night, where they received their awards and took selfies, all ready for the next adventure in life. I have very fond memories of them all from the time they came here...many in nursery or reception, until now as they go off on their travels to high school.
Moonbeam Class had an exciting morning on Tuesday, following the dinosaur trail and trying to solve the questions on the dinosaur hunt at Goosnargh Park. We had a lovely time and finished the morning off with an ice-cream and a play on the park. A big thank you to Mrs Soole and Mr Parkinson for coming along and helping. Mrs Soole's team won the dinosaur hunt, with a whopping 17 points! Well done to Sophia, Indy, Dylan, Nevaeh, Ela and Alara.
Have a very safe and happy Summer and I look forward to seeing you all in the new school year in September.
Have fun and enjoy!
