This week in Gold Class we have been very busy! In English we have been improving our ability to infer and deduce information. We have been reading short stories such as 'The Nule Post' and 'The Peacemaker' and answering questions about the text. The answers we gave weren't always obvious, we also shared ideas and made predictions about what we thought would happen next. Needless to say...there were some very interesting answers!!!

Mr Herd also gave us a new English book this week, which was very kind of him! They have our new targets on, which will help us improve our writing. 

 In Maths this week we have been learning a method for how to multiply decimal numbers. WE NAILED IT!!!!! The improvements have been clear to see. Shaniyah and Jorja were given merit certificates in the Friday assembly because of the special effort they have put into their Maths work this week. 

In Science we are making our own alarms and this week we created a diagram of what our alarms will look like. Again there were some very interesting ideas.

 A big well done to everyone in Gold class!!
