What is going on??? One minute its Monday morning the next it’s the end of the week. it is true what they say 'time flies when you’re having fun'.
Well Monday started out bright but just as the games got started Mother Nature stepped in to spoil our fun and rained us out, boooo.
Tuesday was a whole lot better, the sun was out and the whole of Pool House was having a great time which carried on for the rest of the week, yeeeey.
The infants started off with some Skittles this week and the enjoyment didn't was there for all to see. With Skittles being played on Tuesday and Wednesday these guys and gals we're having a blast. With top defending from Reegan, as always and a plethora of long shot points scored by Max it gets hard to keep up with what’s happening because it’s so enjoyable to stand back and watch.
Thursday and Friday was football time (always my favorite). As always the infants played with passion, enthusiasm and eagerness. Cian and Hayden we're all over the pitch on both days and it wouldn’t be surprising if they slept all weekend they ran that much. Alan was involved in almost all of the play on Friday from last ditch defending to skillful finishing.
The juniors... As always with these guy’s football is always a must and Tuesday, Wednesday was all about the action. Harrison and Tyler got the teams sorted and from then on it was all out attack from everyone. Good job Isaac and Kasper we're on top for in the nets or the score line could have run away with themselves.
Thursday and Friday saw the return of tag rugby, organized and lead by Liam. It’s great to see the juniors enjoying themselves and this game is a must for fun. Tries were being scored at each end of the pitch and a special shout out to Monaè for a near full length pitch run try.
The infant Sports Person of the Week went to Daniel. Wow this lad has enthusiasm and a determination matched by no one. Every day, 100%, without complaint, without a fuse. He just goes out and really does try his hardest. Whatever the game, whatever the weather, Daniel will be there and he will be ready.
The junior Sports Person of the Week goes to Jasmin. This girl is a superstar every week. She always gets involved and always tries to play her best and play the right way. Jasmin is very quiet out on the pitch but she makes up for it in presence and stature.
Well done to both of you, you really do deserve these awards. Next week sees the return of Team of the Term and it’s still anyone’s award to win so keep going everybody.
Let’s keep having fun...
