This is not Friday!!!
Still running a little behind but never mind. These weeks are flying by at the minute, its difficult to keep up.
The infants enjoyed football and tag rugby this week and boy did they enjoy them. There’s definitely some future football stars in the making here; nutmegs, flicks, tricks and outstanding goals on show for everyone to see. The tag rugby games went well with lots of team work being displayed. It’s so nice to see everyone playing together.
The lower juniors had football, basketball and skittles this week. The way the lower juniors are really learning to play the right way. They are learning to take direction from the referee and working hard to play by the rules. With a couple of solo goals from Max and some excellent hoops scored by Jessica it’s been fun, fun, fun all the way for these guys.
The upper juniors have had lots of fun playing football, skittles and tag rugby. It’s really pleasing to see these older children taking charge of their own games and respecting each other. there has been lots of skills and sportsmanship on display; with the goal of the week coming from Harrison. A great bit of team play finished off with some individual skill and a neat finish.
The upper junior sports person of the week goes to Harrison, for fantastic team play and trying to make sure everyone got involved with the games.
The lower junior sports person of the week goes to Reo. Reo has really tried hard to play the right way in whatever game we’ve played. He also shown some great skills in football and skittles.
The infant’s sports person of the week goes to Mikquell. Always wanting to get involved, Mikquell is an all-round superstar in every game he plays in and even asked to organise and run the tag rugby game. Such a big responsibility for little shoulders; taking in his stride, without breaking a sweat. Well done Mikquell.
Another week gone so fast.
