Teams of six-made up from children from the infants and all of the junior classes were joined by similar teams from Holy Family and Ingol Community. They battled it out over eight rounds which included general Christmas knowledge, festive famous faces, 'wrapped up' famous buildings, a Christmas music round and a round where they had to build a Christmas tree, using wooden skewers, cocktail sticks and green marshmallows (obviously!)
The children had a great time and really got into the spirit of things. It was a very closely fought quiz, with the final scores being:
- Holy Family - 28
- Pool House - 32
- Ingol Community - 35
Well done to all of the children who participated and a huge 'well done' to Ingol Community-valiant winners (but we'll be back!) Some other 'thank yous' are needed. Thanks to Mr Bamber for keeping the scores in a wonderfully entertaining fashion. Thank you to Mrs Bennett for playing the piano beautifully on the music round. Finally, a huge thank you to the school PTFA, who gave us the money for the buzzers that were used in the quiz and will come in very handy for such occasions for many years to come.
Thank you all and now enjoy the photographs of the event.
