What a week! First off, Happy St David’s Day and Happy World Book Day too. The children have all had an amazing time in school today and created comic strips, acted out super hero plays, read stories with each other and also helped to solve the mystery of Mrs Bennett being kidnapped! All was well in the end and the two master villains were captured by the superheroes and the villains-the croissant and the cactus-said they were very sorry.

In lessons earlier in the week, we looked at evaluating and we did this in the context of looking at the role played by zoos as man-made habitats. We looked at and discussed the negative aspects and the positive ones, then we came to a reasoned conclusion about what we thought of zoos. The children worked really well and there was debating of a high standard going in in the different groups. This week’s super stars were:
