We started the week finishing off our chinese celebrations by tasting different chinese foods and talking about what we had learnt about chinese new year.

"I liked the rice best"

"My favourite was the spring rolls"

Brodey and Elle thoroughly enjoyed their chinese banquet and cleared every last grain on their plate.

Tuesday was fantastic with our trip to Frankie and Bennys, we were proud with how well behaved and polite sunshine class was. Children really enjoyed their pizzas. Harrison and Harvey managed the whole 9" pizza. Thankyou to Mr Parkinson for driving the bus.

Wednesday was wonderful with our weather investigations. We painted words in the snow, wrote rhyming words on the windows and made our own ice sculptures. We have enjoyed finding out how water freezes to become ice.

Thursday was full of superheroes as we celebrated world book day. We enjoyed solving the puzzles to find Mrs Bennett and heard some fantastic stories from Bronze class which they had written all by themselves. Well done Harvey for winning the best costume prize, your supertato costume wowed us all.

Today has been a day reflecting on the week. We finished off all our rhyming work and played some counting games. We have also been working on our listening skills by playing some games.

My favourite part of this week was

"playing the listening games" Iyla-Rose

"our trip to Frankie and bennys, it was lovely" Harrison

"the superhero colouring competition" Filza

Well done to Iyla-Rose for being our star of the week and our certificates went to Etienne and Jamie-Leigh.
