Mmm Pizza!

This week we have really missed Miss Ellison in class as she’s been recovering after having teeth out. We have still been incredibly busy and I am sure she will be very proud of the work we have achieved.

We have been continuing our English topic of Tutankhamun and using the information we have found out to start planning an explanation text.

We have been learning our 3x and 4x tables in mathematics and found some brilliant songs to help us do this.

On Monday we visited Tanterton Christian Centre. Hazlett gave us a tour of the church and explained to us all the different things that happen in the church and what things were for. We had a great time!

On Tuesday in computing we began writing our story boards for our scratch animations. In RE we spoke about things we are thankful for and wrote our own prayers of thanks.

On Wednesday morning we were working with the people from the football development company to learn some new football skills and some football related maths. We then had music with Mrs Bennett, we wrote our own songs in pairs and practised playing our recorders.

On Thursday afternoon we were extremely lucky because Ela and Alara’s Dad owns a Kebab and Pizza shop and their mum delivered some pizzas and chips for us to try as part of our DT Topic. We had a great time and the pizzas were extremely yummy. Which was your favourite?

Thank you also to Mr and Mrs Bradbury for providing all the children with a pizza box for part of our DT topic - the children are going to take part in a competition to design their own pizza box.

Well done to Ben this weeks star of the week and well done to Dylan and Millie for being this weeks merit certificate winners!

Have a lovely weekend and see you Monday!
