1. We began writing our own diary entry from the perspective of someone who lived during the Black Death. We had to consider what symptoms we could see around us, what the plague doctors were doing and what actions other people around us were taking.

 

2. In Science, we tested the difference in the weight of different classroom objects in the air, where gravity alone is affecting them, and in water, where water resistance is also having an effect. We found that water resistance did effect the weight of the objects and appeared to make their weight lighter.

 

3. We did a Q&A session with Ammaar in R.E. As our current topic is Islam, and Ammaar is a practicing Muslim, we posed different questions to him about his faith and religion in order to gain a better understanding of his beliefs.

 

4. We began looking at how to create repeating patterns in Computing. We considered the software that is used to create repeating patterns, thought about where we may find repeating patterns in everyday life, before having a go at creating our own repeating patterns.

 

5.In English we began to write a review for the Museum of Fun. Before we did this, we identified all the key writing features (such as modal verbs, brackets, colons) in an example review.
