1. Head Hunters. This week we created our own set of Head Hunters cards to find around the school grounds. Each of the sets had to be linked together but the theme of the cards was up to us.
  2. Clay Painting. We started the week by painting our clay mythical creatures that we had created last week. Unfortunately some of our models did begin to break apart as we painted them though we did get some fantastic pictures of the painting in action. See our gallery page for these.
  3. Propaganda Posters. Our History topic this half term is World War Two and we began the unit looking at real propaganda posters before creating our own.
  4. Class Charter. We created our class charter for our final year at Pool House. These ‘rules’ were created and voted for by the class and then the document was signed by each member (staff included) of the class.
  5. Gangsta Granny. We wrote our own nonsense guide for pretending to brush your teeth, just like Ben does in Gangsta Granny. We then had a go at creating some of our own nonsense ‘special offers’ in the same style as in the book.
