This week we celebrated Comic Relief on Friday. To celebrate this in Gold Class we played HeadHunters alongside Year 5. In this game we had to find each of this years Red Noses alongside the original Red Nose and the Comic Relief Logo. In the afternoon we took part in a ‘Design Your Own Red Nose Competition’ and then raced against each other and Year 5 in a ‘Red Nose and Spoon Race.’ We had a fantastic day and raised a lot of money for a fantastic cause!

 

In other news this week, we began our SPAG revision in English in preparation for our SATS. We spent the week identifying a writing a range of main, subordinate and relative clauses. In Mathematics we continued our unit linked to angles, this week measuring angles and drawing angles using a protractor. We also began our cricket unit in PE – practising throwing, catching and bowling with accuracy before carrying out a partnered game of quick cricket.
