Chinese New Year in Sunshine Class
This week we have been learning all about the Chinese New Year celebrations .We have made our own Dragon masks, Chinese New Year cards, done some Chinese New Year Yoga and even learnt a Dragon dance. On Thursday we had a Chinese Banquet, we found out all about Chinese food and then got to taste it.
In phonics we have been recapping our phase 2 sounds and started Phase 3.
In maths we have been recapping addition and learning number bonds to 10, we are getting really good at remembering which two numbers go together make 10.
The weather has been extremely cold this week, we have been wrapping up warm and putting our wellies on to have a crunch in the snow, we wrote our number bonds in the snow too using a stick.
On Tuesday we had dance and learnt a Chinese New Year dance, On Wednesday we did Chinese New Year yoga and learnt a dragon dance and on Thursday we did football with AFC Fylde.
