Spring is coming

Sunshine class have been learning all about spring this week, we went for a spring walk , finding the first signs of spring and then we discussed what we had found , we wrote some fantastic spring poems too !

Phonics has been so much fun this week, we have been recapping our sounds and listening to some phonics songs to help us remember them. We have done some spring phonics activity books too this week, which we have really enjoyed.

Rain and sunshine! Its been  mix of all weathers this week, but we have really enjoyed being outside and playing in the sunshine and then seeing if we can spot rainbows.

It has been a creative week, we have loved painting flowers and baby chicks, using forks , we have loved the colour mixing and painting .

 

Number formation and ordering numbers is what we have been working on in maths, we are  getting really good at finding the missing numbers to 20 and have been doing lots of work in our maths books.

 

Growing flowers , this week we have been potting and planting tulips, sunflowers and cress! We have really enjoyed doing this and watering them, we cant wait to see them grow!
