After a relaxing half term, we have jumped straight into a very productive few days.

In English we have started a new topic of poetry. This has involved looking at the main features of poetry (including imagery, rhythm, alliteration), analysed an Autumnal poem, and wrote our own Autumn poems and Acrostic poems.

In Maths we have focused on our timetables, in particular 4, 6 and 7 whilst also looking at the inverse of multiplication.

We have also briefly introduced our new topics in Geography and Science –Settlements and Teeth, Eating, and Digestion; learned about Our Home in French; practiced our gymnastics on the various equipment’s in PE; and finally continued with our learning game in Computing.

Of particular importance, in PSHCE we have talked about how to keep safe during the spooky season for those who chose to trick or treat, as well as the potential dangers to be aware of with Bonfire Night fast approaching.
