We have had such a wonderful week – starting with fabulous fireworks and ending with a phenomenal pantomime.
This week we have continued looking at our spooky stories in English – listening to and analysing the audio story The Ghost Thief. We have also begun looking at emotive language and powerful adjectives as we gather ideas for our own story.
In Mathematics we have focused on multiplication – revising methods such as partitioning as we move onto grid method two-by-two digits.
In French we carried on with the theme of the house by looking at our ‘chambre’ and ‘cuisine’ – bedroom and kitchen.
In Geography this week we have learned the definitions and differences between various settlements and have created our own settlement maps.
In Science we have begun our topic on digestion, looking at the organs involved and the route that our food takes through the body.
In Computing we have carried on with our educational game and finally in PE we have continued with our gymnastics routines using low apparatus.
