Year 4 have had a lovely week, starting sombrely on Monday commemorate the fallen this Remembrance Day.

This week we have cemented our knowledge of Grid Method in Mathematics, as well partitioning for doubling and halving.

In English, we have continued looking at our creative writing, finishing up our spooky stories – ready to record along with sound effects next week.

In Science, we revisited the digestive system, examining what each organ does in the process of digestion.

In Geography we created a detailed map of a settlement type of our choice, making sure to include all the necessary key features.

Finally, in PE we have carried on with our Gymnastics, whilst in computing we have finished off our educational games.

The end of the week has been gloriously yellow and spotty, as we celebrated with Pudsey for Children’s in Need. We used the opportunity to discuss the importance of charity in PSHCE before designing our own Pudsey Bears. Thank to everyone who donated towards this amazing cause.
