This week in Gold class, we have been challenged in Maths; we learnt how to do long division! in English we have finished reading the (wonderful, fasinating) book called Thief! This week in History we have been creating powerpoints about different key figures in the Renaissance period, such as Sir Francis Drake, Christopher Columbus and William Shakespeare. In Science yesterday we had an experimental lesson. Our task was to create our very own alarm system, this is a work in progress and we will have to come back to this after half term!

Speaking of half term, it is half term next week!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When we come back on Monday 20th February, we will be going swimming that morning. So we need to remember to bring a towel and a swimming hat and oviously some trunks or a swimming costume.

We will have a brilliant half term and a well earned rest. HOPE YOU HAVE THE SAME!! :) :)
