This week we focussed on the story Rosies Walk.

"The Fox tries to sneak up on the hen" (Conner)

"The flour fell all over the fox" (Ela)

"The fox fell into the pond." (Eliza)

 

We decided that Rosie went back to her hen house to lay eggs. We talked about all the things eggs could be used for. The Orange group did some fantastic writing.

Mrs Bradley helped us to make scrambled, poached, boiled and fried eggs and omelettes. Everybody was very good at trying different eggs.

" I added Hot Dog, Hot Dog, Hot Diggety Dog to mine." (Dylan)

"My favourite thing was making cheesy eggs." (Indy-C)

 

Sunshine Class are learning their Gruffalo words really well, this week we spent more time outside writing them on the floors and the windows (Shhhh, don't tell Mrs Cole!)

 

Miss Chippendale has been working hard to make our Spaceship, ready for our new topic next term.

 

" I want to know about rockets and the moon." (Conner)

"Miss Chippendale is making a cool rocket ship." (Charley).

 

This weeks Star of the week is Oscar and our certificate winners were Ellie and Aiesha. Well done!

 

I hope you all have a lovely half term together.

( I'm sorry but I must decline on the request to run a holiday club on this occasion - I've to much decorating in my house to do!)
