Well the weather has certainly been a factor this week! With golorious sunshine for the majority of the week we have spent time working outside on the stage, which offers some beautiful shade and a much needed breeze!

Monday saw a team, made up of 6 Year Sixes and 2 Year Fives, taking part in the Preston Schools Kwick Cricket tournament at Fulwood and Broughton Cricket Club. In the baking sun we toiled away and came away with a record of P2 W1 L1. The children showed great sportsmanship and a range of skills.

Today (Friday) we have finalised our advertising for next week's Ice Cream sales. The children have come up with flavours for Tuesday-Friday next week, selling them at tuck time for 50p. Let's hope we have the sunny weather back, because nobody likes a soggy ice cream!

More Job Junction work has been carried out. This week's focus has seen us working on a draft of a covering letter to accompany our CV that we wrote last week.
