Its Friday already, how can that be.
It’s been a very busy week this week in school, with all sorts going on every day.
Unfortunately, like last week it’s been difficult to get some sports games going in the juniors for various reasons. Things should be back to normal next week and we can get the sports started again.
Luckily the infants were able to still enjoy the lunch time sports games. Monday through Thursday was a football fans dream. We enjoyed lots and lots of fun with these games this week. Long distance goals, goal line clearances and fantastic skills were all on show this week. Super defending by Jamaar helped to keep Tuesday’s game to a respectable 5-3 score line. The goal of the week has to go to Hayden, with a mazey run from his own half followed by a cool finish into the bottom corner.
This week’s infant Sports Person of the Week goes to Mikquell. Every day, every game, he always tries his best and is always ready to help with the equipment and setting up of each game. He’s always polite and ready to get playing any type of sport.
Even though the juniors didn’t get the chance to play any sports games at lunch time, myself and Mrs Miller choose to give the junior Sports Person of the Week to Harry. This guy just loves to have fun. His confidence is growing and he really does enjoy playing sports. He always plays in the right way and shows great sportsmanship by trying to always involve others.
Well only two weeks left so let’s see how much sport and fun we can fit in.
Let’s go again next week.
