This week has been the busiest week of the year so far (well it feels like it). This week saw the dress rehearsal for the school production of Greased, followed by the final showing to an audience on Wednesday. All those who attended said it was amazing and how well the children had performed. Also on Wednesday the school had a visit from an inspector from Ofsed. Thankfully due to great weather on Thursday we could do our sports event for the year.
In silver class we moved into year 5 for the afternoon on Monday to work with our not so new teacher for next year (Mr Mearns) again. It will be nice for us all to move up to year 5 together.
Our DT project came to a conclusion this week with the building of our shelters which we had designed. A big congratulations to Jackson for creating a superb shelter to keep our star wars toy safe and warm.
Next week sees the last week in silver class for Miss Merraoui. She has been working in class since the Easter holidays. We wish her well in her new job starting in September.
This week’s merit winners are :- Sonny, Leon, Ruby, Lexi, Gabi, Jackson
