Hello there.

What a week it has been! This week we have stopped being children and started being detectives. We have been learning about Tutankhamen and investigating his death. We need to decideif he has been murdered. There are lots of suspects and lots of motives, we have learnt about the two advisers Horemheb and Ay. What do you think?

In Mathematics we went to the road at the end of Kidsgrove and counted all the different coloured cars. We then made a tally chart and a bar graph to represent our data. Some of us struggled with the bar graph but we ALL had fun.

We wrote a letter to a the British Museum, explaining what treasures we had hidden in Tutankhamen's tomb. The Curator wants to display our artefacts.

In Physical Education we have developed our hockey skills and we wrked outside on the playground on team work. We all had to stay in a giant conga line.

We have sketched a drawing of the last supper with Mrs Miller and learnt more about Leonardo Da Vinci. We love it when Mrs Miller teaches us Art.

In Science we have been learning about Light Sources and what the meaning of darkness is. We have had a McMillan Coffee morning in school and raised lots of money for charity.

Star of the Week and Merit Certificates will be handed out on Monday.
