Another exciting week has been had by Moonbeam class.
In English this week the children have continued to learn about poetry. The children have performed poems, they have looked at descriptive words and have even written their own poem about playtimes.

In Mathematics this week the children have been leaning to sort objects and shapes into Venn diagrams and Carroll diagrams.
‘The middle of the Venn diagram has to match both criteria.’ (Dylan)
‘I enjoyed sorting the coloured sweets.’ (Bobbi-Jack)
In science the children were identifying common animals and sorting animals into different groups. The children learnt about mammals, fish, reptiles, amphibians and birds.

‘My favourite animal is a giraffe and it is a mammal.’ (Charley)
In History the children have been comparing toys from the past to now a days.
In Art the children have been using watercolours to create a background ready for their action shots next week. The have learnt about Paul Klee and his love for watercolours.
In P.E the children have been continuing to create their animal dance. The children have enjoyed working with a partner to link movements.
In R.E the children have been learning about harvest and singing lots of songs ready for the assembly. The children did a fantastic job singing and I hope you enjoyed watching.
