This week we have been celebrating Harvest.

We really enjoyed practising our 'In my trolley' song for the assembly and we hope you all enjoyed watching us in our assembly.

In RE this week we have been learning about Harvest and how it is celebrated. We have been writing about what we are thankful for.

"I am thankful for food." - Mikquell

"I am thankful for my mum because she takes me to the park." - Drew

"I am thankful for my sister because she plays with me." - Alicja

"I am thankful for my mum cooking my food." - Reegan

We have also been writing some Harvest acrostic poems and we have written a class prayer of thanks. Have a look below at our prayer!

Rainbow Class Prayer of thanks

Thank you for the food that we eat

And to all the farmers to work hard.

Thank you for the wonderful harvest

That we all enjoy celebrating.

Thank you for the clothes we wear

They keep us dry and warm.

Thank you for the people who look after us

And make sure we are loved.

This week's merit cerificate winners and star of the week will be awarded in Monday's assembly. Homework this week is a maths number bond activity alongside the usual homework web, spellings and reading.
