Just a short one.

Only a three-day week this week, but we certainly hit the ground running.

The upper juniors enjoyed two games of football and a game of skittles. It was fantastic to see the level of maturity on show because of the slippy, wet and very puddled playground. The upper juniors still managed to play these games and really have fun. Some fantastic team play between Lexi, Thomas and Owen was definitely the play of the week.

The lower juniors enjoyed football and skittles also this week. With a very wet yard they managed to play safely and still score loads of goals. Oliver and Reo combined to almost score the goal of the season, only to hit the ball over at the last step.

The infants had lots of footballing fun in these three day and one game finished 11-7. Everyone on the pitch scored. It’s such a pleasure to see these little guys enjoying themselves and trying to make sure everyone gets involved.

With it being a short week I was not going to do a Sports Person of the Week, but one person stood out so much I had no choice. Lexi, what a super footballer she is turning into. Great movement, great team play, fantastic ball control and the vision of a top creative midfielder.

Back to a full week again next week….
