Well, what a crazy busy week we have had. On Monday the children started to learn about the film ‘the snowman’ the children enjoyed retelling the story and I must admit they used some wonderful adjectives to describe.

‘The snow dazzled for the bedroom window.’ (Dylan)

‘James woke early and peered out of his frosty window.’ (Alara)

On Tuesday the children enjoyed watching the junior carol concert (Any parents will be in for a treat on Monday, it was fantastic.)

The children also carried out two performances of our nativity ‘the twinkly treetop tale’ I’m sure you will all agree that it was spectacular. I know, I am super proud of the children that had to step up at the last minute to perform.

On Wednesday the children had their Christmas dinner, the children made Santa decorations for the tables and enjoyed their yummy lunch. The children were too full to do any work Wednesday afternoon so we chilled out and had a film afternoon.

On Thursday the children carried on with their Yoga session, they continued to learn the different poses by using the alphabet. (Why don’t you see if your child can teach you any?) Check out our class photos to see the yoga pictures.

On Friday we had a super long assembly due to all the certificates being given out, Mr Bamber’s class also taught us about descriptive writing. We even had a little Christmas sing along. This afternoon the children have been carrying out some Christmas crafts, which you will enjoy seeing next week. Might even go and have a piece of cake.
