Testing times in my room this week, with reading tests being done for those children new to the school, reading, spelling and mathematics tests for others and even a sounds test! Phew! If the children aren’t exhausted, I am and will be glad when we are back on our normal timetable next week.

Other than that, there isn’t much news to report this week. We are of course, very much looking forward to World Book Day next week, where we will all have the chance to dress up, have some fun and have a book-tastic time with all of the activities planned in school.

This week’s challenge is in my room and is part of the new display, celebrating the work that the children have been doing on Bloom’s Taxonomy and habitats. There are three boards, one for maritime habitats, a second for the U.K. and the third for the rainforest. Come along and see if you can correctly sort the different pictures into the correct box…not always as easy as it sounds! Come along and see how you get on.

Have fun and enjoy!
