A big welcome back! Where has the time gone? I remember teaching most of you at the end of year 2 and now here we all are again – in your final year of Primary School.

 

This has been a week of getting used to the new routines and expectations of year 6. We decided upon presentation standards for in our books in class, talked through the year 6 curriculum and created a class charter. We also took part in a short arithmetic test, plated a quick-fire SPAG game and wrote about a topic of our choice in a Big Write.

 

We also began looking at our History topic for this half term – The Battle of Britain! We started by looking at real propaganda posters. We discussed what propaganda was, and what these posters meant before attempting to design our own propaganda posters.
