This week we have enjoyed our new activities in the classroom, finding hidden words to sound out, writing tricky words in our mark making area and using the number monster to help us with our addition.

We have been exploring various habitats and insects this week as part of our English and Science work. The children have loved being little explorers and enjoyed creating new homes for animals, pets and insects to live in. They have shown great investigation skills and I’m sure we have some future explorers in Moonbeam class!

We visited the library on Tuesday afternoon where we listened to lots of different stories, sang songs and completed colouring activities. The children applied their road safety training on the walk to and from the library and they all did amazingly well. Thank you to Mrs Dorota, Miss Hargreaves and Mrs Hudson for coming with us.

Today we have really enjoyed celebrating Children In Need, by wearing something yellow, wearing pudsey tops, decorating biscuits to sell and having our faces painted.  Thank you to you all for helping us raise so much money for such a great cause.

Our star of the week is Iyla-Rose for being a superstar in class all week. Our merit certificates went to Bree-Anna for being a kind and caring friend to everyone in School and to Damian for working really hard in his independent writing. Dan the man awarded his football certificate to Aaron. Well done everyone!

We hope you enjoy looking at our week in pictures and have a lovely weekend!
