This week in Rainbow class we have been focusing on working together as a team. 

As part of our PSHCE we need to learn how to understand other people's feelings and to co-operate. 

"In PE we played ladders." - Indy

"We also played chain tig." - Sophia

"We caught the ball playing Odd Ball." - Ela

"We should work together because people might need help." - Emily

 

In mathematics we have been learning how to add by partitioning. This method is new to the children and some have found it tricky, but we have all kept going! Alara was awarded a merit certificate for her perseverance. 

 

"In science we have been learning about materials." - Charley

"We were exploring which materials can change shape." - Maryam

"Blu tac can change shape." - Aiesha

 

Star of the week this week is Aiesha and our merit certificate winners were Kyle and Alara. 

 

Today the children are bringing home their lines for the nativity. Children who wanted a speaking part have some lines to learn but they will have a script to read from during the performance.
