This week the children have been working with money in Mathematics and they have worked really hard to recognise different coins and their value and make different amounts. In English we have been exploring Little Red Riding hood and after our amazing work on Wednesday, we went out into the snow and loved every minute of the snow angels, ice-skating and snowballs. On Friday we wrote about our time in the snow and the children loved describing how much fun they had with their friends. Please take a look at our gallery for the pictures of our time in the snow.
In Science we have been looking at the four seasons and how the environment around us changes and why this happens. In R.E we have explored the importance of the 5K’s and in History we have been comparing old and new houses, finding differences and similarities between them both. On Wednesday afternoon the children designed their interactive houses to make for next week and in P.S.H.C.E they looked at the importance of honesty.
This week we have had many children bring in beautiful homework and it is getting really hard to find more room in class to display it all. Thank you to you all for helping and supporting the children so much with their wonderful work from home.
Our merit certificate winners for this week are Joshua for his outstanding work in Mathematics and Etienne for always working hard no matter how challenging things can be.
Our star of the week is Elle.
The football certificates were awarded to Etienne and Gabriella.
Well done everyone!
