This week we have celebrated learning to tell the time for o’clock and half past. The children have surpassed my expectations with learning to tell the time and I am super proud of them.

We have also celebrated the festival of Vaisakhi in our final lesson on Sikhism for this term, in R.E. This included colourful clothes, making our own music, dancing, singing and making decorations. (Please see our photos of our celebrations.)

We have celebrated learning new things such as syllables, compound words and prefixes in English, as well as our attendance. So many of us have had 100% attendance this term, which is a wonderful achievement.

We ended our week with an indoor picnic, sharing our treats and playing lots of games with our toys from home.

Our star of the week is Scarlett.

Our merit certificates have been awarded to Oskar and Toby.

Our football certificates from Lloyd went to Filza and Aaron.

Well done to everyone for such an amazing half term. The children have worked so hard and deserve a well-earned rest.

Have a lovely half term holiday!
