This week in Moonbeam Class we have been learning about what Remembrance Day is and why poppies are sold and worn each year. We learnt about soldiers and the armed forces, watched Remembrance Day parades, explored different types of uniforms, painted our own poppies, used adjectives to describe soldiers and made poppy wreaths.
Also this week, we have used different methods for subtraction, discussed how we know animals are alive in Science and looked at our new topic of non-fiction in English which is all about diary writing.
New spellings have been put into spelling records and thank you once again for the amazing level of homework that is being handed in each week by your child.
