Happy new year from all of us in Sunshine class. We have really enjoyed all being back together and have spent some quality time together this week.

At the start of the week we caught up on what was special for us all whilst we were off school and then decided what our new year’s resolutions would be. These are now proudly displayed in the classroom.

We have pedalled our way to success with the “Learn to Ride” scheme and everybody has done a brilliant job on the balance bikes. Some people have even been able to ride the bikes with pedals. I have been really proud of how polite and hard working the children have been towards our visitors this week. As well as cycling we have had our football session with AFC Fylde and we have had a yoga session too. A very healthy start to 2022!

We have also been reading and recapping our phonics sounds. This term the children have a reading challenge which is stuck inside their reading records. Please make sure you write in your child’s record each night they read. Good luck, I will look forward to awarding prizes at the end of this half term.
