Happy New Year to you all.

Week one of 2023 has been a short but busy week in year 2.

The children started the week by writing some fantastic diary entries all about their Christmas holidays.

This week we have started a new topic on fairytales in English, discussing the features that a typical fairytale story has and telling everyone our favourite fairytale.

We have started to learn how to tell the time in Mathematics, so far we have discussed o’clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to.

In Geography we have started our new topic all about China, we have located it on the map and looked at different facts. 


In Computing our new topic with Mr Mearns is Photography. Looking at what makes a good photograph and how to take a good photograph.
