Welcome back! We have enjoyed our first week back together after half term. We have been busy with lots of different things this week.

In PE, we had a fun gymnastics lesson with Miss Leah, where we learnt to do a number of new moves such as a dish and table.

In geography, we have been looking at different mountains in England and comparing the Three Peaks. 

In our maths lessons, we have been learning all about place value and how to round up and down.

In English, we have been looking at explorers and debating what makes the ultimate explorer.

 

This week, Year 5 and 6 have starter their swimming lessons – group one loved their first session and it was a pleasure to take them as their behaviour was impeccable.

 

Spellings will roll over from before half term. The children should all have a copy of these, but they are on the school website too. We will be testing them on Friday 28th April.
