Sunshine Wonderland
What a fun week we have had in Sunshine class!
On Wednesday it was world music day, each class got given a genre of music to perform to the rest of the school, and our genre was ‘The 70s’. Mrs Parkinson brought in her record player and lots of vinyl records, we had so much fun listening to the different songs from the 1970s. We all agreed we would like to perform ‘Boogie Wonderland’ but we changed the lyrics and performed to the rest of the school, our version called ‘Sunshine Wonderland’ Miss Leah helped us in dance to learn a routine, everyone worked really hard and we really enjoyed the other class’s performances.
In Maths we have been counting up in 10’s to 100. We are getting really good at doing this and have wrote them all in order in our maths books.
In Phonics we have been re-capping the sounds, writing friendship stars and doing riddles. We have really enjoyed doing riddles, following on from ‘under the sea’ we have picked a sea animal and have wrote 3 clues out so our friends can guess what we are.
We have been keeping active with Dance, Gymnastics and Football
Our certificate winners this week are –

Merits – Lorelle and Thomas
