We had lots of fun with Miss Roberts in Science this week, experimenting on plants and the different ways they grow. We have planted seeds in different conditions and we are hoping to see them grow throughout the spring and summer term. We loved this task – Particularly getting out hands dirty!!! We have completed another week about our key text 'Orange's in No Man's Land' and we are getting closer and closer to writing our own story using the ideas we have gained from the text. Keep you eye peeled for future blogs and galleries to see how these turn out!
In Computing this week we began our new topic about E-Safety, which linked closely to what we talked about with the PCSO last half term (and we remembered a lot!) With Mrs Miller on Thursday afternoon we started our new topic on Georgian Architecture. We got into groups and attempted building our own structures from different materials.
Mr Blackburn got us to talk in groups about ways we can keep ourselves healthy. Our focus this week was on exercise. We made a list of as many activities as we could think of that would help us keep fit. Mr Blackburn has talked us through our new spellings and homework and where to find them on the website. Our class page is slowly coming together….
