This week we have had an unusual week in school with it being pancake day and world book day.

On Tuesday it was pancake day. We all went into the staff room class by class for pancakes. The children decided whether they wanted lemon and sugar on their pancake.

          "My pancake was tangy" (Lily)

"It was so delicious because of the sugar and lemon" (Caroline)

On Thursday it was world book day. Our school theme was Where's wally. The effort from the children and staff was fantastic. We had different activities to do during the day. In the afternoon the whole school went into the hall for hot chocolate and biscuits. Some children won prizes.

"It was fun looking for wally" (Brooke)

"I enjoyed having hot chocolate and biscuits" (Alan)

In Maths we have been looking at odd and even numbers. We have been learning to count in 2's

          "2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20" (Nicole C)

In English we have been looking at interesting vocabulary.

          "camouflage" (Reegan)

          "Safari" (Darcy)

          "Prey" (Alicja)
