This week we have been learning about Leonardo Da Vinci and Tutankhamen. I liked learning about the ancient Egyptian topic with Mr Bamber (the best teacher ever). I think he is the funniest teacher in the world, he does funny voices and accents and always makes us smile.
The star of the week was Emily Jones and the Merit Certificates went to Tegan and Nicole. We are super proud of Tegan because she got the Head Teacher's award!
In our detective case we have got a suspect to who killed Tutankhamen. Our suspect is the guardian and the advisor, we think their motive was to take over and control Egypt. Tutankhamen was nine when he became king and then when he became nineteen he was king and the advisors were not needed anymore.
Tutankhamen had a bent spine and a blow to the head. We saw the x-rays. The people made a death mask of Tutankhamen and we looked at it in class.
In Mathematics we have made our own 100 squares, yeserday we learnt the term inverse and we have been adding numbers bonds to 10 and 100. We have even added multiple of 5 number bonds to 100.
We have had a fun week! We cannot wait for next week.
