This week in infants we have been practising for our nativity performance.
"Our nativity is called 'A Twinkly Treetop Tale.' - Arham
"We have been learning the songs." - Drew
"We are learning our lines to tell the story." - Nicole W.
"I have enjoyed singing." - Esther.
In English we are continuing to write our information booklets about how to care for an animal.
"I am writing about a parrot. They eat nuts." - Ada
"My book is about rabbits. Rabbits eat carrots and strawberry tops." - Nicole C
"I am writing about gerbils. Gerbils need a water bottle so they can have a drink." - Philip
"Gerbils need toilet rolls to chew. They need gerbil food." - Caroline
"Gerbils like digging in sawdust." - Reegan
We have had two very crafty afternoons this week. We have been designing and creating our own model monsters.
"I used a bottle and some paper to create my monster." - Darcy
"My monster was called 'The Tree'." - Mikquell
"My monster was made of cardboard and lolly sticks." - Kayden
Homework for this week is one thing off the homework web and instead of a maths or big write I would like the children to learn their lines for our nativity.
Star of the week this week is Caroline and our merit certificates were awarded to Philip and Alan. Well done!
