Well, it's been such a hectic couple of weeks that Sunshine class didn't have  chance to blog last Friday - Please accept our apologies.

Over the last fortnight we have been reading, acting and finding out all about Goldilocks. We have enjoyed making porridge and tasting it, looking at how things change when they are mixed or heated up. We videod each other in groups acting out the story of Goldilocks, using props and voices to show each character. Last Friday we wrote a letter inviting Goldilocks to Pool House School. 

Thankyou for all our hamper donations, we won 2nd place in the competition. We will have our reward in coming weeks.

This week Goldilocks accepted our invitation and came to meet sunshine class.

Unfortunetly she was quite naughty and made alsorts of mischief. We tried to catch her and made wanted posters but she just kept escaping.

On Tuesday Goldilocks came to apologise for being so cheeky and explained we had been scaring her by chasing her. 

"Oh look it's just Mrs Bradley" (said Mya)

"Why did you trick us? (Asked Harrison)

"You are naughty" (said Elle)

The rest of the week has been taken up with preparing for our Xmas play. We all have chosen our parts and found out who the characters in the Nativity story are. 

We welcome Miss Nickson who has been helping make our classroom more festive and fun.

She will be helping us next week with our rhyming strings and weighing parcels.
