Rainbow class have been channelling their inner Monet this week and have created a beautiful scene from Monet's garden for our class display with Miss Hargreaves. 

"We have been making our own water lillies." - Nicole C

"I have drawn a Japanese bridge and painted my picture using watercolours." - Philip

"I painted a picture on a board for my homework." - Caroline

"We sketched the Japanese bridge." - Reegan. 

 

In PE we have been focussing on gymnastics. 

"We practised different ways to travel. I did the crab where you have to move sideways." - Ada

"We have been travelling like snakes." - Nicole C

"We have been balancing. I balanced on one foot with my arms out to help me balance." - Darcy

"I balanced on my knees." - Drew

 

In computing we have been carrying on with our PowerPoints about Florence Nightingale. This links to our history topic. They'll soon be on the website to see!

 

Star of the week is Kacey and our merit certificates went to Caroline for her outstanding homework and Esther for writing an excellent set of instructions about how to make chocolate. Reegan was awarded the Sports person of the week. Well done everyone.

 

As usual we have a homework web and spellings this week and instead of a big write homework I have sent home some times tables questions, as this is what we are learning about in maths at the moment.
